Illustrated. 227, [1, blank] pp. Publisher's full blue boards, spine lettered in gilt, publisher's unclipped (price is on lower rear flap) dust jacket (minor rubbing, bumping to binding, edge of text block soiled; jacket spine a bit sunned, jacket edgeworn and chipped, some edgewear, marginal tears and chips to panels, jacket panels toned). Very good. PRESUMED FIRST EDITION, DEDICATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY SCHIRRA TO HIS SON ON THE DEDICATION PAGE: ?To my favorite son - Dad". Schirra's son, Wally Jr. is one of three dedicatees, the others being Schirra's wife, Jo, and his daughter Suzanne.
