- Lot Description
[NASA MEMORABILIA]. Suit-Fitted NASA Emblem. [NASA: ca. 1960s-70s]. The famous NASA ?meatball" symbol, beta cloth emblem, cut and applied onto a 3 ? x 4" section of cloth (with plastic coating), meant for placement on a space suit. According to a previous auction entry (Swann Galleries, sale 2073, lot 84), this patch was worn on an Apollo training space suit. An uncommon configuration for this symbol.
