College Station, TX: The Early West / Creative Publishing Company, [1997]. 4to. Illustrated. 320 pp. Publisher's deluxe binding of half brown levant morocco over brown cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, brown cloth slipcase (light rubbing to slipcase). Fine. FIRST EDITION, #42/75 COPIES SIGNED BY HARDIN'S GREAT GRANDSON, ERNEST CHRISTIAN SPELLMAN. The author, Dr. Richard Marohn, passed away before the printing was completed, and so this deluxe edition was signed by a descendant of Hardin. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 12 x 9 x 1".
