[PAGEANT] Panoramic Photograph of the 1935 Miss America Pageant. Atlantic City: Central Studios/Fred Hess and Son, 1935. Sepia tone photograph titled ?Inter City Beauties?Showmen?s Variety Jubilee?Steel Pier?Atlantic City?Sept. 3 to 8, 1935?. Featuring the female contestants from all 50 states (Alaska and Hawaii not present), each wearing a ribbon titled with the state they are from. The winner of this pageant was Henrietta Leaver (Miss Pittsburgh). Framed, overall 11 ? x 41?. Few vertical creases to image, far left image area marred with image loss.
