PETRIE, John Albert. Photograph of John Albert Petrie. Photograph of the magic and toy manufacturer in black and white, seated at the desk in his factory. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED. Mounted to a stiff card, overall, 10 x 8?. From the collection of Wisconsin magicians Joseph and Curt Walter. Joseph Walter was a founding member of Wisconsin's Houdini club, and had ties directly to Beatrice Houdini. His son, Curt, was a comedy magician of local renown who in later years specialized in mentalism.
