[PHOTOGRAPHY]. LAUGHLIN, Clarence John (American, 1905?1985).??Pioneer Frame (Austerlitz Plantation)?.?New Orleans, 1947. Silver gelatin print mounted to board, signed, titled and dated at lower margin of mount. Artist stamp, notations, and an inscription from Laughlin to his Chicago friend Bernie Ross on verso of mount. (Few tiny stains to image area). Mount, 203 x 254 mm. Depicted in Ghosts Along the Mississippi by Laughlin (See Plate 31; book included).
