Illustrated with 16 pp. of photographic reproductions and numerous intertextual illustrations. 748 pp. Bound in publisher's deluxe binding of full blue morocco, front board and spine ruled and stamped in gilt, two raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, with blue silk ribbon bookmark with white stars. Housed in the original publisher's custom-made oak box (approximately 16 ? x 10 ? x 4 ? ") with the Presidential Seal embossed in gilt on the top of the hinged lid and lined in royal blue velveteen. The front drawer houses six audiocassettes of President Reagan's speeches. With brass carrying handles and drawer pulls. With publisher's (Easton Press) letter to the collector concerning this book (apparently this title was a co-production between Simon and Schuster and Easton Press) Fine.FIRST EDITION, NUMBER 460 OF 2,000 COPIES SIGNED BY REAGAN. This copy has the publisher's custom Styrofoam box (stamped with a facsimile of Reagan's signature and with seal stickers on the sides), and the original cardboard shipping box (shipping box worn with later ink notations) Measurements: 19"L x 14"W x 8"H.
