[REVOLUTIONARY WAR]. [BATTLE OF BUNKER / BREED'S HILL]. Sammelband of 8 19th Century Booklets About Bunker Hill. [V.p., 1819-1875]. 8vos. Two booklets with maps, one folding. A few booklets with original wrappers. Bound together in late 19th century three-quarter morocco over marbled boards, front board stamped in gilt (with a circled "R"), spine tooled, ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, marbled endleaves, top edge gilt. PRESUMED FIRST EDITIONS, EXCEPT AS NOTED.
Condition
Light rubbing, faint soiling to binding, text generally toned, foxed, some booklets with ownership signatures, folding map with tears and additional creases. Very good.

Titles include: History of the Battle of Breed's Hill by Major-Generals William Heath, Henry Lee, James Wilkinson and Henry Dearborn compiled by Charles Coffin (1835, no wrappers); Who Was the Commander at Bunker Hill?... by S. Swett (1850, wrappers); History of Bunker Hill Battle with a Plan by S. Swett (third edition, 1827, with folding map, later plain wrappers); An Enquiry into the Conduct of General Putnam, in Relation to the Battle of Bunker, or Breed's Hill... by Child (1819, no wrappers); Notes to His Sketch of Bunker-Hill Battle by S. Swett (1825, no wrappers); A Particular Account of the Battle of Bunker, or Breed's Hill... by a Citizen of Boston (1825, plain (later?) wrappers); History of the Battle of Bunker's [Breed's] Hill... by George E.
