SCOTT, Walter, Sir (1771?1832). The Waverley Novels. Edinburgh and London: [Ballantyne & Company for] Cadell & Company, et al, 1829?1833. 48 volumes, small 8vo. Steel?engraved titles and frontispieces (some light browning or offsetting). Early half morocco, marbled sides, raised bands, gilt lettering and tooling in compartments, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers (few volumes with light edgewear, else bright). An attractive set.
