Unpaginated. Bound in publisher?s special binding of full burgundy levant morocco, front board and spine stamped in gilt, orange silk moire endleaves, orange silk marker. Fine. FIRST EDITION, ONE OF TWO COPIES IN A SPECIAL BINDING BY THE PUBLISHER - ONE GIVEN TO AUTHOR TONY KUSHER, THE OTHER (THIS COPY) PRESENTED TO SENDAK WITH AN AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED FROM THE PUBLISHER STATING SO. The letter was inscribed by MICHAEL DI CAPUA, Sendak's longtime personal editor at Harper Collins but for a short time was with Disney.
