- Lot Description
LEROY, Servais (1865 - 1953). Servais LeRoy ALS to Will Goldston. Dated June 27, 1912 and written in ink entirely in LeRoy's hand, the inventive Belgian illusionist writes, "Will run in to see you tomorrow - Friday - with sketch of "Passing Strange" illusion. I can then explain my small [illegible] which you may wish to know - Best wishes, most sincerely, Servais LeRoy." One lined 4to sheet, with Goldston's stamp of receipt below the signature, and accompanied by the original mailing cover addressed in LeRoy's hand. Both with scrapbook remnants to their versos, else very good.
