[SHADOWGRAPHY] HAND SHADOWS ON THE WALL. New York: W.H. Steele & Co., Publishers, ca. 1880. Boxed set of twelve cards printed on both sides and depicting 24 ?finger gymnastics? used to create shadows on the wall, including the ?Wild Indian,? a rabbit, ?The Goose a Prisoner,? a growling bulldog, a goat, ?Mrs. Grundy,? and others. Case 7? ? 6? ? ?". Box with sides perished, soiled and dampstained, cards generally good. The first example we have encountered.
