- Lot Description
Shifting Sands. Azusa: Owen Magic Supreme, ca. 1990s. From the smaller finely spun copper vase sand is poured into the larger vase until it is filled. The sand then vanishes, the bottom of the vase is removed, and a wand dropped completely through. Even so, the larger vase is again filled by the smaller, and again the sand vanishes. This can be repeated a third time if so desired. Brightly colored sands may be used. Supplied with a road case, 13 x 14 x 18". Originally constructed for Blackstone Jr. by Les Smith (Blackstone Sr. favored the Willmann apparatus). Later offered in limited quantities in the Owen catalog. Unused and as new condition.
