Provenance: Howard Collins (bookplate and limitation), see below.FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 21 of an unspecified number printed for friends of the editor, SIGNED BY SMITH on the limitation, this copy being presented to Howard Collins. Collins contributed a story titled ?Ex Libris Sherlock Holmes?. -- [With:] SMITH. 221B: Studies in Sherlock Holmes. New York: Macmillan, 1940. 8vo. Original red cloth. Provenance: Harvey Officer (ownership signature dated 1940). Officer was one of the first members of the Baker Street Irregulars.
