SPENSER, Edmund (d. 1599). The Poetical Works of Edmund Spenser. London: William Pickering, 1825. 8vos. Frontispiece in volume I. 5 volumes. Bound by Hayday in nineteenth-century full brown straight-grain morocco, spine tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, boards ruled in blind, all edges gilt.
Condition
Volume I rebacked in green boards, but preserving the original spine, spines lightly sunned, some rubbing, light wear to spines and board-edges, endleaves and text foxed, text toned. Very good.
