New York: Viking-Press, 1939. 8vo. 619, [3, blank] pp. Original pictorial oatmeal cloth, publisher's unclipped first issue dust jacket with $2.75 price and ?First Edition" slug. All points for first state present (first published in April 1939 on copyright page with no mention of later printings; cloth spine and joints a bit toned, endleaves offset; jacket spine toned and chipped, some toning, edgewear with several marginal creased tears or chips). Very good. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. Goldstone-Payne A12.a.
