[TEXIANA]. -- [McMURTRY, Larry (1936-2021), his copy]. BURTON, Harley True (1888-1964). A History of the J A Ranch. Austin: Von Boeckmann-Jones Co., 1928. FIRST EDITION. ?One of the first ranch histories, and one of the rarest and most important. It is not known how many copies of this book were printed, but it certainly was no more than several hundred? (Reese, Six Score 18). Adams Herd 382; Howes B-1030.
