THACKERAY, William Makepeace (1811?1863). Autograph letter signed (?W. M. Thackeray?) to Mr. Heath, 11 April 1860. One page, 8vo (191 x 114 mm), on embossed Garrick Club stationery. [Tipped in to:] Volume I (only) of Vanity Fair from the Autograph Edition (one of 26 lettered copies) of Thackeray?s Works (Boston: Dana Estes, n.d.). Half leather over marbled boards, spine gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut.
