[Fine Bindings] Campbell, John, Lord. Thirteen Finely Bound Works of John Lord Campbell. London: John Murray, 1845/1881. Complete sets include 8 vols. of The Lives of the Lord Chancellors and Keepers of the Great Seal of England (1845/1869); 3 vols. of The Lives of the Chief Justices of England (1849/1857); and 2 vols. of Life of John, Lord Campbell (1881). Uniformly bound in an attractive half midnight blue morocco gilt ruled, raised bands, spine compartments ruled in gilt with distinctive flowering urn centerpieces, marbled endpapers, t.e.g. 8vos. Occasional spotting or toning to margins; else fine.
