HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Two Houdini Escape Challenges. 1923. Letterpress printed handbills, including a challenge to escape from a straitjacket issued by the Cook County (Chicago) Sheriff's office, and a packing box escape challenge issued in Memphis, Tennessee by the Wm. R. Moore Dry Goods Co. shipping department. Each 9 x 6". With chips, wear, losses, and scrapbook remnants to versos. Provenance: Collection of Beatrice Houdini, passed to the consignor by descent.
