- Lot Description
Two Optometrist Large Eye Demonstration Models. 1960s / 1950s. Wood plastic and metal. Stunning design of plastic optometrist's anatomical eye models. Both fit on teak stands and are housed in a custom case. These were owned by Doctor J.V.D. Quereau MD of Reading Pa. Some of Dr. Quereau's papers from the 1950's are listed on the internet. Address of Dr. Quereau is on the outside of case. Eye stands lock down for safe travel. Custom case is 35 x 18 x 12", eye models overall on stands are 14" high and eyes are 9 1/2" diameter.
Condition
Large Eyes: Good condition. Large eyes come with a yellow semi-circular curve that attaches, but at the connectors on each large eye, the very small plastic section is broken or missing. Case has light surface wear and its in good condition.
