[U.S. POLITICIANS]. Album of autographed letters and photographs of 20th century politicians. 1960s. Approximately 80 items, including letters and photographs of United States Senators and governors (some later to hold higher office including presidents). Subjects include: Richard Nixon, Harry Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, Thomas E. Dewey, Everett McKinley Dirksen, William Egan, Orval Faubus, Vance Hartke, Hubert Humphrey, Daniel Inouye, Robert F. Kennedy, Edward M. Kennedy, Otto Kerner, Henry Cabot Lodge Jr., Edmund Muskie, William Scranton, George C. Wallace. All organized in sleeves within a vinyl binder, with letters, campaign material, and photographs, addressed to a single recipient who wrote to the offices of numerous politicians requesting campaign material and their autographs. Includes auto-pen and pre-print autographs.
