[UNKNOWN ARTIST]. 36 hand-painted fortune-telling cards. Circa latter half of the 20th century. 36 multi-media cards with drawn and painted color images of characters or symbols used in fortune telling, each card with ink numbers or symbols in each corner. Each card 3 ? x 2 ??. Some with rounded corners. Some mild light surface dirt, occasional minor creasing, wear (presumably due to use). All cards mounted onto a matte, framed and glazed (frame size: 28 x 24 ??). A fascinating and charming piece of folk art. Comes with typewritten instructions on using these cards to tell fortunes.
