Illustrated with 3 plates and a folding map. 534, [32, ads] pp. Publisher's full red cloth, boards decoratively ruled and paneled in blind, spine stamped in blind and gilt, brown coated endleaves.
Condition
Rebacked, preserving the original spine, binding worn, soiled, hinges cracking, text toned and somewhat edgeworn, endleaves scuffed, bookseller's ticket and bookplate of publisher and collector Edward Faridany on fp., ownership signature ("E. S. Hilling") on first blank. Good. FIRST ENGLISH EDITION. Travel throughout the area plus the latest accounts of atrocities by the natives.
