Illustrated with 3 plates and folding map. 443, [95, Appendix, Index, Errata and Addenda] pp. Bound in modern half brown calf over marbled boards, spine ruled in black and gilt in compartments, five raised bands, black gilt morocco lettering label.
Condition
Text toned, with occasional edgewear, wrinkling, soiling, final 70 or so pages with repairs at lower inner margins with some occasional loss. Very good. THE RARE FIRST EDITION. An excellent account of the operations in the early part of the Afghanistan war.
