Text volume illustrated with 52 plates and maps (some tinted), map volume with 2 large folding maps. Text volume 495 pp. Publisher's cloth bindings, boards stamped in gilt.
Condition
Boards heavily worn, soiled, both volume with spines perished, front board of text volume nearly detached, text and maps toned, worn, soiled, maps torn, text volume with several gutters cracking. Bookplate of J. Eastman Hatch on fp. of text volume. Fair only, sold as-is, not subject to return. FIRST EDITION, SENATE ISSUE, WITH THE UNCOMMON MAP VOLUME.
