University of New Mexico Publications in Language and Literature Number Seven. Albuquerque, NM: The University of New Mexico Press, 1952. 8vo. Frontispiece. 186 pp. Publisher's printed wrappers (wrappers rubbed, creased, toned, lower corner of wrappers and text dampstained at lower right corner). Good. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, INSCRIBED BY DYKES ON THE RECTO OF THE FRONTISPIECE, AND WITH AN AUTOGRAPH POSTCARD SIGNED BY HIM. Inscription on recto of the frontispiece: ?This is the first printing ? it was OP in just three months from the day of issue ? Jeff C. Dykes". The autograph postcard signed is addressed to ?W. M. Morrison" in Waco, TX (former bookseller) and postmarked March 1954 from Washington, D. C. This bibliography is ?A model work on a single person" (Lawrence Clark Powell, Southwestern Book Trails). From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 9 x 7 x 1".
