FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING; A SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE AND FRAGILE BOOK. An excellent account of a pioneer's journey to Oregon and settling there. She comments on Fremont, Kearny's Dragoons, Marcus Whitman, and what she mis-labels the Yellowstone region (most likely Soda Springs, ID). Howes C952. Housed in chemise and slipcase (worn).
