DAVENPORT, William H.H. (1841 - 1877). William Davenport Signed Carte de Visite. Melbourne: Batchelder & Co., 1876. Three-quarter length sepia tone portrait of the younger of the famed Davenport Brothers, in evening clothes and with his masonic medal, sash, and apron prominently featured in the image. 4 1/8 x 2 1/2". INSCRIBED AND SIGNED by William Davenport to his mother on the verso. A RARE image and autograph.
