- Lot Description
WILLIAMS, Ralph Vaughan (1872-1958). Signed Program. 9 November 1954. 4 8vo pages on one folding folio leaf. Signed by Williams in blue pen on the first page beneath his printed name. Each page approximately 9 x 6?. Some toning, a few pin-holes at upper margin of all pages, two small pieces of tape to the top of p. 3 mounting it to a later mounting sheet (very little tape is on the program itself). Near fine. Williams was a prominent twentieth century English composer, specializing in operas, ballets, chamber music, symphonies, and more (he is considered to be one of the finest symphony composers of the twentieth century). From the collection of fantasy/sci fi collector Greg Phillips.
