[WRESTLING]. LEWIS, Ed (1891-1966). Studio photograph of Ed ?Strangler? Lewis. 1925. Black and white 8 x 10? publicity photograph of the four-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champ. Small chip at lower left corner. Editorial notations and stamps on verso. RMY Auctions Certificate of Authenticity included. One of the ?holy trinity? of iconic 1920s athletes (Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey being the other two), Strangler Lewis?s wrestling career ran for over four decades. He wrestled in over 6,000 matches, losing only 32 of them.
