[WRIGHT, Orville]; CESARE, Oscar (American, 1883?1948). Original Life Drawing of Orville Wright, signed by the aviator. November 1924. Original pencil and wash drawing of Wright by the artists, Cesare, on wove paper, pencil signed in the lower right by Wright. Published in the February 1, 1925 issue of the New York Times Magazine. 12 x 9 ??. Publisher?s pencil notations to margins and verso, including the notation ?Autographed by Wright?. [Together with:] three pencil preliminaries from life portraits of Orville Wright by Cesare (drawn on Oct. 28, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio) later to be published in the December 11, 1938 New York Times Magazine and used in the National Portrait Gallery.
