Note: Watkins was one of a group of Ohio artists who elevated the medium of enameling to new heights of beauty and creativity. She studied at the Cleveland School of Art and then apprenticed in Boston with George Gebelein and Laurin Hovey Martin, who had in turn studied under the preeminent British enamelist Alexander Fisher.
Overall very good condition, a few extremely light scratches to interior of bowl. Several shallow flecks under edge of rim. One large chip and two flecks to enamel on edge of foot.
