- Lot Description
Randall Lee Gibson (1832-1892) Confederate brigadier general who led a brigade at Chickamauga and Chattanooga. He joined the Confederacy as a captain in the 1st Louisiana Artillery in 1861. He was commissioned as colonel of the 13th Louisiana Infantry and led the regiment at Shiloh assaulting the Hornet's Nest. On January 11th 1864, he was promoted to Brigadier General and fought in the Atlanta campaign as well as Franklin and Nashville. He commanded Spanish Fort before it's fall. Signed paper slip, “R.L.
