Henry Clark Corbin (1842-1909) Corbin was teaching school and studying law when the American Civil war broke out In November 1863 he was commissioned a major in the 14th United States Colored Infantry. He eventually rose to be lieutenant colonel and colonel of this regimen. He was Adjutant General of the United States Army from 1898 to 1904. .... signed card, “Yours sincerely, H.C. Corbin, Adg Gen’l, Brig. Gen’l, USA.†John Alexander Logan (1826-1886) was an American soldier and politician. He served in the Mexican–American War and was a general in the Union Army in the American Civil War. Battle of Belmont on November 7, 1861, where his horse was killed, and at Fort Donelson, where he was wounded on February 15, 1862. .... Signed Card, John A. Logan, Gen.†John McAllister Schofield (1831-1906) was an American soldier who held major commands during the American Civil War.
