Collection of a diverse group of reference books, catalogs, and guides focused entirely on the history, identification, and makers marks of antique silverware, gold, and Sheffield plate. The assortment features a mix of hardcover volumes, paperbacks, and a white three-ring binder, with titles including The Book of Silver, The Collector's Dictionary of the Silver and Gold of Great Britain and North America by Michael Clayton, London Goldsmiths 1697–1837: Their Marks & Lives by Arthur G. Grimwade, Old Country Silver by Margaret Holland, and The Book of Sheffield Plate by Seymour B. Wyler. Rounding out the selection are Small Antique Silverware by G. Bernard Hughes, English Silver 1675–1825 by Stephen G. C. Ensko and Edward Wenham, Chats on Old Silver by Arthur Hayden, two copies of The Queen's Silver by A. G. Grimwade, Silver 1450–1825, and American Silversmiths and Their Marks.
