(2) 1930s Vintage Brass Steam Engine Models. Pair of vintage brass steam engine models: one inline/parallel cylinder engine, one v-twin oscillating engine.
Largest Size: 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 in.
Model steam engines are miniature working replicas of full-scale steam engines, designed to demonstrate the principles of steam power and often enjoyed as educational tools, engineering projects, or collector’s items. Typically powered by heating water in a small boiler with fuel tablets, alcohol burners, or electricity, they generate steam that drives pistons or turbines to turn flywheels, gears, or wheels.
