(22) Tiffin Franciscan Crystal Stemware. Elegant glass stems in various sizes, each featuring a clear, polished body topped with a wide, decorative gold-leaf rim.
Largest Size: 3 x 3 x 5 in.
Tiffin Glass Company was an American glass manufacturer based in Tiffin, Ohio, active primarily from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, and is especially remembered for its elegant pressed and hand-decorated glassware. Founded in 1889, the company became known for combining industrial efficiency with artistic finishing, producing dinnerware, stemware, and decorative pieces that reflected changing tastes from Victorian ornamentation to sleek Art Deco styling. Tiffin’s etched crystal patterns and colored glass lines were popular in American homes and department stores, prized for their clarity, craftsmanship, and affordability. Today, surviving Tiffin pieces are sought after by collectors for their design variety and as representative examples of early American art glass manufacturing.
