American Pairpoint Cherubic Silver Plated and Cut Glass Centerpiece Bowl. Four cherubs holding swinging chains support the glass bowl. Marked on the underside.
Size: 13 1/2 x 8 x 8 in.
Pairpoint silver plate, produced primarily between 1880 and the early 20th Century in New Bedford, Massachusetts, was known for ornate Victorian, Aesthetic Movement, and Art Nouveau designs. Often marked "Pairpoint Mfg Co" and "Quadruple Plate," these pieces frequently featured high-quality silver plating over white metal, with popular items including elaborate trays, baskets, and tea sets.
