Jennifer Rasmusson (20th Century) American, Mixed Media Abstract. Abstract mixed-media painting featuring bold, organic red forms and black ink splatters against a yellow and white background. Signed lower right, dated 1961. Framed.
Overall Size: 27 x 22 1/2 in.
Jennifer Rasmusson (born in Provo, Utah; active) is an American contemporary painter known for her textural, expressive works that bridge representational imagery and abstraction. She studied art with George William Allen in Salt Lake City before attending the Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Connecticut and the Dundas Valley School of Art in Ontario, Canada, refining a style that often evolves from recognizable florals into dynamic abstract forms. Rasmusson has exhibited widely across the United States, held leadership roles such as Director of the Cedar City Art Committee, and her work is represented in numerous galleries and collections; she currently lives and works in Southern Utah with her family.
