Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, renowned for co-founding the Cubist movement and revolutionizing modern art. Born in Málaga, Spain, he demonstrated prodigious talent from an early age and pursued formal art training before moving to Paris, where his style evolved through distinct periods, including the Blue and Rose Periods. Alongside Georges Braque, he developed Cubism, a radical departure from traditional perspective that fragmented objects into abstract forms.
