The Preisner Silver Company was founded in 1935 in Wallingford, Connecticut by brothers Ben, John, and Frank Preisner, who had apprenticed at Wallace Silver after moving there together from Louisiana. The company focused on manufacturing sterling silver hollowware and operated until 1985, and today the Preisner legacy continues with the Oldani Brothers in nearby Meriden, Connecticut that was founded by apprentices of Ben Preisner and now produce sterling silver and pewter, sometimes using the old Preisner designs.
