A late 18th to early 19th century English single-draw telescope by Dollond of London. Tapered lacquered cloth covered barrel with 1 3/4" objective lens, removable draw and sliding Brass lens cover. Marked "Dollond, London / Sold by J. Eyre, Old Church Yard, Liverpool" at draw. Some wear to patina and barrel covering, lacks lift-off objective lens cover. Closed 26" long, open approx. 30 1/2" long overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
