A late 19th century Brass single-draw telescope mounted on a Brass tabletop stand. Shagreen covered barrel featuring sailor's knotwork decoration with 1 3/4" objective lens, sun shade and sliding Brass lens cover. Mounted on an adjustable Brass swivel stand with folding cabriole legs. Some wear to patina and shagreen, one leg bent, draw pulls freely, edge of sun shade with denting, small chip to objective lens' Brass bezel. Closed 21" long, open approx. 28 1/2" long overall, 15 1/2" high overall on stand. ESTIMATE $600-800
