The New York Yankees entered the 1950 season as the defending World Series Champions. They won their 17th AL pennant, finishing three games ahead of the Detroit Tigers. The Yanks swept the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series to secure the franchise's 13th World Series title.
Offered is a 1950 Yankees World Series 14-karat gold staff ring commemorating that achievement. The face features a genuine diamond surrounded by the words "NEW YORK YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS." Both shanks feature "1950" and the iconic Yankees top hat logo. The inside band is stamped "BALFOUR 14K." The size 10 ring weighs 28 grams. Includes a Balfour presentation box.
