- Lot Description
The 2007-08 Los Angeles Lakers returned to greatness, winning 15 more games than the previous season and finishing first in the tightly contested Western Conference. It was the first season with Pau Gasol on the team, and he starred alongside Kobe Bryant, who won his lone MVP award at the conclusion of the campaign. LA rolled all the way to the NBA Finals, defeating the defending champion San Antonio Spurs along the way. Ultimately, the Boston Celtics squad with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo prevailed over the Lakers in the 2008 Finals in six games.
Offered is a 2007-08 Lakers team signed Spalding Excel Indoor/Outdoor basketball with 14 signatures. Hall of Famers Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol signed in bold silver permanent marker, as well as Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and more. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA, as well as a Derek Fisher LOA stating it comes from his personal collection.
