- Lot Description
1978 MLB All-Star Game ring given to former Los Angeles Dodger Ron Cey. Cey was selected as a reserve and made his fifth consecutive All Star Game appearance . The National League continued its dominance over the American League with a 7-3 victory.
The face of the ring features a CZ diamond set atop a dark black stone surrounded by "American," "National," "Baseball All-Star". One shank has "CEY" above the MLB logo and "1978." The other shank has "San Diego," "All-Star Game," and the Padres logo on the other. Inside stamped "LGB P+". Comes with the original Balfour case. The size 11 ring weighs 26.46 grams. The ring is part of the Cey Collection and is accompanied by a Cey LOA.
