- Lot Description
Sourced directly from the Ron Cey Collection, this lot offers a Tiffany & Co. award cup celebrating the first time in Major League history that four teammates hit over 30 home runs during the season. This feat occurred in 1977 with Los Angeles Dodgers teammates Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Dusty Baker, and Reggie Smith.
The memorial cup features an engraving of each athlete's name and the home run totals from that year. The front of the cup reads "MAJOR LEAGUE RECORD, 1977, LOS ANGELES DODGERS".
The award sits approximately 3.5" tall with a 5" diameter.
