- Lot Description
Five Blue Transfer Plates, England, c. 1800-1824, each underglaze blue decorated, a Charles Heathcote indented dinner plate printed with a TCC-assigned pattern House on the Bridge, impressed maker's mark, dia. 10; an earthenware side plate printed with a version the Elephant and Howdah pattern, unmarked, dia. 8; a Spode earthenware indented child’s plate printed in the Forest Landscape II pattern, unmarked, dia. 4 1/4; an earthenware side plate printed with an variation of the Chinese Raft pattern without a border, unmarked, dia. 8 3/8; and an earthenware dinner plate printed with blue enameling in the Apothecary, Variation pattern, unmarked, dia. 9 1/2 in.
Provenance: The Zeller Collection.Condition
Condition: Each plate in very good condition; House on the Bridge pattern plate with only two small chips to the underside.
