Condition: Dust, sides of blocks encased in plywood frames with remnants of painted dry wall and metal corner bead at the front edges (from a former installation), and with minor adhesions of putty and paint at the outermost edges of the blocks themselves.
N.B. According to the chronology on the artist's Web site, these pieces are likely from the late 1970s when Steven Weinberg focused his work on grids and repetition, based on a minimalist aesthetic and on the control of form. (1)
